When winemaker Andreas Pernerstorfer was renovating his cellar, he stumbled throughout an uncommon treasure, far rarer than the best wine: He discovered enormous bones, which turned out to be mammoth bones courting again to the Stone Age.
Much more remarkably, specialists say the location comprises the bones of not less than three mammoths, as they’ve uncovered a layer of bones mendacity on high of one another within the cellar within the small village of Gobelsburg, in northeastern Austria.
