Sister Wives stars Kody Brown and Robyn Brown purchased a new mansion for $2.1 million, so the couple from the TLC series now have a new home. This is confirmed within the documents embedded below.
But what we know about Robyn from the past, this doesn’t make sense. So, it is either a rather uncomfortable place for her to live, or she pulled herself together to live there.
So far, the description for this real estate listing includes a guest house on the property. The property also boasts a zip line strung through the yard and garages to hold seven vehicles. With one stall tall enough to easily park a double-decker bus inside, or the family’s RV.
Sister Wives: Robyn Brown & Kody Brown Rolling in Dough?
This Sister Wives couple will not likely get any argument from fans about how gorgeous this new place is. All Kody Brown and Robyn Brown‘s ducks seem to be in a row via the documents, including the record for the sale, embedded below in the article.
Soap Dirt found the documents for the sale and the estimated monthly cost is unbelievable. So, Robyn and Kody Brown are the new owners. They paid 5% above the $2 million asking price to land this deal.
This means Kody and Robyn opened their wallets and put down approximately $420,000, leaving them a mortgage for the rest. At an estimated 7% interest (going rate for those with excellent credit), the payments to own this house will cost them around $12,000 a month, plus taxes and insurance.
Robyn’s Deepest Fear Disappeared?
The real estate listing for this house, now confirmed owned by the Sister Wives couple, describes the setting as “heavily treed”. This is the same type of location found in Cottonwood. The family wanted to purchase land in Cottonwood before moving on to buy Coyote Pass.
But Robyn Brown’s fear of living among the trees put a screeching halt on Cottonwood. She told a story of how as a child, her family lived in an area where a wildfire broke out.
Her fear lingers despite the fire not touching her house. She shared how the threat of a fire that she experienced as a child was devastating. So she still can’t shake it, or at least Robyn couldn’t for Cottonwood.
Despite the yard having some open spaces, the area itself is wooded. Once again, much like Cottonwood, which frightened her so much, the family let that go and purchased Coyote Pass instead.
But despite that phobia that kept her from living in Cottonwood, it would seem that Robyn worked past it for the second time. Kody and Robyn Brown’s home featured on Sister Wives this season also sat in a wooded area.
Sister Wives: Kody Brown Hinted…
This season on Sister Wives, Kody touched on the topic of an extra house for when the family wanted to visit. Fans thought that was a bit extravagant. Since the majority of the adult kids aren’t on speaking terms with Kody, others thought it sounded rather delusional.
But this might be the property he had in mind when he talked about an extra house. This Sister Wives season was filmed almost two years ago. But fans suspect the Season 19 edited in recent clips of Kody and Robyn.
So, the scene where Kody Brown shares his wish for an extra dwelling for the family might have been recently filmed and added.
There you have it… in a nutshell. Kody Brown and Robyn Brown purchased a home for $2.1 million.v The document above confirms this.
The couple made a hefty down payment. But it still leaves the reportedly financially struggling Kody and his only wife with an approximate $12,000 mortgage.
The estate looks like a paradise with all the perks. This includes a theater room, 6 bedrooms, 6.5 bathrooms, garages for 7 cars, and the tall RV stall.
And for those keeping tabs on Robyn’s state of mind, you can only surmise this mom of five dealt with her phobia, You know, the one that caused the family to bypass Cottonwood a few seasons back on the TLC series.
