A Sister Wives fan caught Kody Brown and Robyn Brown in a rare public sighting and the picture they snapped seems to tell a rather unhappy story for the TLC couple. The photo shows Robyn and Kody sitting on a park bench as the public walks by. While the fan blocked out the nearby youngster’s face, you can guess who it is. The lanky stature gives fans reason to assume he is Solomon, their youngest son.

Sister Wives fans became used to Robyn Brown‘s doomsday look on her face. She earned the nickname “Sobbin Robyn” because she often looks sad, and she also cries a lot. But then there is Kody Brown. His animated facial features seem to fit whatever is going on with him at the time.
So, Robyn’s facial expression won’t surprise too many fans. In the new pic below, she looks worried and sad. Fans suggest Kody has a more defeated look on his face, as he hangs his head down. Another commenter suggests they look like the poster couple for the opposite of monogamous bliss.
Fans Have Field Day With Jokes
Then another Sister Wives fan joking suggested the two had indigestion. Another chimed in and said it looked as if they smelled something foul. But, either way, this looks like one unhappy couple. So, with all that ecstatic behavior from Kody when talking about loving Robyn unlike any other woman, you’d expect he’d at least put a smile on his face while out in public.
The second half of Season 19 has not aired yet. But Kody shared his happiness about Robyn as his only wife in the first half. Still, this photo seems to show a disenchanted couple, so has something changed? Fans wait to see if Robyn pushes polygamy a bit more when the last half of Season 19 airs.
Robyn Pushing Kody to Return to Polygamy?
In Season 19 we learned the Sister Wives patriarch was thrilled having one wife. But that one wife, Robyn, was not into monogamy. She asked Kody what he thought about living polygamy again.
Fans have a new take on Robyn’s suggestions to Kody about living in a plural marriage again. When Robyn joined the Sister Wives family as wife number four, she had three women who came before her. After watching Robyn in action for a decade, some viewers think she wants to build a polygamous family for another reason. So she could be the wife semi-in-charge of Kody’s other wives.
Meri Brown was considered the original matriarch of the Sister Wives brood. She was wife number one. While fans never saw her as the queen wife, the co-wives once touched on the subject of the first wife being considered the queen wife in a plural family. Robyn and Christine talked about when Kody’s family got together, it was the wife whose house they were at that was “kind of” the queen wife for that day.

We didn’t see Meri using her senority among the wives on the screen. She didn’t act like the boss of the other women. Although when Janelle Brown and Christine Brown first joined Meri and Kody to create a plural marriage, these two newcomers got into scabbles. That was especially hard on Janelle, when things weren’t done Meri’s way.
While Robyn says she wants to live out her golden years on a porch with her sister wives, fans think she has another agenda. They suggest that she might like having a little control over any sister wives that sign up for a plural marriage down the line with her and Kody. Much like what a queen wife would do in some polygamous marriages.
So, who knows, after seeing the latest photo above of this couple, maybe Kody will break down and start fishing for new wives. They don’t seem very happy in this moment in time when the camera captured them. There is also an added plus to going back to polygamy. Starting up a new plural marriage might keep their TLC reality show going a little longer.
