A Riverside County Sheriff’s Division deputy was arrested Saturday and booked on suspicion of sexually assaulting a volunteer within the division, authorities mentioned.
Alexander Vanny, 33, was arrested after the feminine volunteer reported a sexual assault to a deputy on Friday, based on the sheriff’s division.
The deputy reported the allegation to a supervisor, prompting an investigation, based on the division.
The division mentioned it discovered proof of a sexual assault, which led to Vanny’s arrest.
“The Riverside County Sheriff’s Workplace condemns any type of misconduct involving its personnel on or off obligation and stays resolute in its dedication to deterring and stopping such conduct,” the division mentioned in a press launch.
Vanny is an eight-year veteran of the sheriff’s division who most not too long ago served within the Hemet Sheriff’s Station.
He was being held on $1-million bail and was booked on suspicion of kidnapping to commit rape, rape by drive and compelled oral copulation. Data present Vanny was launched Sunday.
