The infamous pyramid schemer Patrick Bet-David remains the only person on the internet, aside from the tech people themselves, who is defending the “Deluge of Shit” plan by Donald Trump to bury us all alive in human garbage from India.
But he is on it. He’s now releasing daily videos spreading the vile lie that we are only talking about 85,000 people a year. This is a total lie. 85,000 is the official number of people who are supposed to be allowed in on H-1B visas, but the US government issues hundreds of thousands of exceptions, which brought the 2023 number to close to a million “people.”
This is the data from the Department of Homeland Security:
In 2023, 755,020 of these people came in and 72.3% of them were Indians.
Most people do not agree with 85,000 coming in, but I can understand how someone would say “well, that’s not a huge issue, Biden brought in millions of illegals every year.” I see people repeating this “but it’s only 85,000 a year” lie. We need to get this data out there.
Bet-David, who got rich running a pyramid scheme, is responding to Steve Bannon. He played a clip of him in the above video. Is Steve Bannon citing this data?
I can’t watch Steve Bannon’s show, he’s too much of a ridiculous Irish drunk. But much of the media is citing him as the leader of the right-wing MAGA movement, so he needs to be citing these statistics. Aside from open shills like Bet-David, a pyramid schemer, the only people who are not outraged by this who I have seen believe the 85,000 number. When people see the real numbers, I promise you, no one is going to be quiet about this.
The principle of not replacing whites with immigrants is important, but for most people, the numbers are what counts. Elon said he wants the “top 0.1%” of people. If we take that at face-value, there are 8 billion people on the earth, so he is talking about 8 million people a year.
The situation already involves nearly a million people, and Elon is demanding this get more extreme, so he is talking about more than a million people. What is his actual number? Why won’t he give a number?
This country is not an “economic zone.” We live here. This is our home and we do not have another home to go to like the Indians do.
Bet-David is arguing that iPhones would be too expensive if they were made in the United States and connecting this to H-1B, saying that if we’re against H-1B we should be for reshoring and paying higher prices for products. These are two different things that aren’t really directly related, but clearly, American patriots want the iPhone factory to be in the US and will pay the cost.
This is not complicated: if wages are higher, you can afford more expensive products. No one wants to pay $3,000 for an iPhone right now, but if our wages were twice as high, that would not be an issue.
Moreover, in the greater scheme, if we were removing immigrants and bringing manufacturing back, cost of living would rapidly, massively drop. The housing cost crisis is caused by immigrants, food is more expensive because of immigrants. Paying an extra $1500 for an iPhone would not mean anything at all if things were fixed on the macro scale.
Needless to say, iPhones are not particularly important. People want phones, whatever, but you really only need a new one every 3-4 years, and that is only because of programmed obsolesce, which should be illegal. The current generation iPhone does not have more meaningful functionality than the iPhone 6, released more than 10 years ago. Like fake statistics, talking about “OMG but iPhone prices” is just pandering to the lowest tier of moron who can’t imagine anything beyond the immediate realities he is dealing with.
He also talks about how cellphone service cost would go up if we hired American callcenter workers instead of Filipinos. Again, this is going into a completely separate area. There are reasons other than jobs that people don’t want Indians in this country. But it’s somewhat related. The reality there is that if there were laws compelling companies to keep call centers in the US, companies would be putting more money into developing AI systems. Moreover, American cellphone service costs are already ridiculous, and higher than the rest of the world, and if costs went up and there was a free market, there would be a push for a viable prepaid option. And frankly, it’s not clear why cellphone service is even a big issue at this point, given that most people are calling and texting using internet-based apps, and there is wi-fi everywhere.
Anyone trying to sell you on H-1B is a slimebag, by definition, so they are just going to lie and try to trick you. We need to get the facts out there.
