Married At First Sight: Madison Myers Cools off After Wedding Day High
On Married At First Sight, Madison Myers had a fabulous time at her wedding. But she wasn’t really a fan of Allen Slovick’s bedroom attire of hot pink briefs printed with broccoli paired with a loose white tank. The pair chow down on some breakfast that luckily didn’t include broccoli. He reveals to Madison he went to therapy after his most recent relationship broke up. Madison admits she never cohabitated with any of her exes.
She wants to know if he has any quirks. He admits he doesn’t like to get dressed and doesn’t appear on camera for his work meetings. Preferring instead to sport his collection of veggie forward underwear. Madison Myers laughs but also says “we’ll fix that”. It’s time to get ready for their respective brunches with in-laws. Allen Slovick is questioned by Madison’s dad about whether he’s recently been tested for STD’s. Allen turns red and admits he’s in the clear. But her dad says he’ll have to show her his results.
If that wasn’t bad enough, Madison’s sister suggests Allen is not Madison Myers’s type on Married At First Sight. In fact, she tells him that Madison prefers a pretty boy. And that he’s the polar opposite. Ouch. Over in Madison’s corner Allen’s mom cries hoping Madison won’t break his heart. Madison Myers backpedals a little. She admits it’s all new and she needs to get to know him better. Allen is a little shocked when she repeats this to the other couples at the start of the honeymoon.
MAFS Couple Karla and Juan Franco Share Juicy Habits
Karla and Juan Franco enjoy their first night together on Married At First Sight. When breakfast is delivered, the pair find out they both love to start the day with fresh juice. Juan admits he makes his own juice at home during the week. Karla hesitates but admits she prefers to go out and buy her juices. He teases that she must spend a lot of money on her fresh squeezed habit. She admits it’s around thirteen dollars each time. But counters his judgement by saying money is energy and carrots and celery are time so it all evens out.
Later, Jaun Franco’s dad gets a little nosy about Karla’s finances and how she will help him in the marriage. She counters that she’s a hair stylist, a Pilates instructor and a sound healer. This doesn’t seem to impress his dad. Karla admits she’d like to be a stay-at-home mom eventually. Juan sits down with a few of Karla’s sisters. They too question finances. Juan admits he will need for Karla to work until his start-up takes off and maybe even after. Or at least start pressing her own juice.
Married At First Sight: Michelle Tomblin Mocks David for Living at Home
Michelle Tomblin is still salty that her MAFS match lives in the basement of his parent’s house and partakes of a Camel light now and then. David got up super early to work out at Planet Fitness since it’s a judgement free zone unlike his marital bed. He feels better after the workout and digs into breakfast while Michelle begins her interrogation. She wants to know how he could possibly think it’s cool to live at home in your thirties. And suggests it’s a turn off.
It’s definitely a red flag for Michelle Tomblin. Who brings it up to his family at brunch. They are a tad defensive. Suggesting he has his own separate space with its own entrance. When she balks his cousin accuses her of not being all in. And she admits she might not be. David fails to impress her sisters and mom. Who tell him he’s a lot and to pump the brakes.
MAFS: Smooth Sailing for Camille Parsons and Thomas McDonald
On Married At First Sight, Camille Parsons and Thomas McDonald move forward in a steady pace. There doesn’t seem to be any early major differences. And their respective meeting with families go very well. They are on the same page when it comes to the big issues such as kids. Camille’s dad does hand out the standard don’t mess with my daughter warning. So, this could be the early favorite couple to make it all the way to decision day.
Emem Obot gets a little bit of a surprise when Ikechi Ojore‘s family suggests he’s looking for perfection, a unicorn. It’s a lot of pressure. But she’s confident she can handle it. They also warn her that he’s popular on social media because of his status as an author. And warn that random ladies just love a poet. Again, Emem’s got this. Her family grills him about trying out for MAFS more than once. And want to know if he is in it for love or an opportunity.
Married At First Sight: Let the Honeymoons Begin
On Married At First Sight, Madison Myers leads the gang in a long drawn-out toast that mentions squeezes and diseases. Ikechi Ojore and Emem Obot impress the others with their comfortable PDA. While Thomas delivers a sweet tribute to Camille and provides the episode’s first mention of its famous catchphrase “be vulnerable”. Madison Myers admits to anxiety over now being part of a couple. And Michelle wonders if all these other people have an advantage since their spouses don’t live in a basement.
It’s the first morning of the honeymoon and Juan Franco dances and blares bluegrass. David reveals to Michelle Tomblin that he actually slept on the couch and ordered up 6 chicken tacos around 1 in the morning. Michelle’s irritation grows. Allen Slovick wants to get to the bottom of Madison’s sudden chill. Ikechi and Emem enjoy a cozy dip in the pool. And Camille and Thomas enjoy their vulnerability. Till next time!
