Married At First Sight: Ikechi Ojore Calls Emem Obot Mechanical
On Married At First Sight Ikechi Ojore admits to the experts he’d like to see Emem Obot in a bit more of a free form. He tells Dr. Pepper Schwartz and Pastor Cal Roberson that his wife is a bit mechanical. And that he’d like to see the art in her. He blames this on his inner poet. Pastor Cal suggests that while the experts get reports on everyone’s PDA, he thinks they seem a little distant at the moment.
The Chicago couples have moved into the designated MAFS residence, La Vista Vulnerable. In the meantime, they will visit each other’s respective digs. Ikechi Ojore is a little nervous to show Emem his bachelor pad. He suggests it’s meager. But he does have a great view. Emem Obot says it’s what she expected. She’s cool with all the musical instruments and Ikechi even plays a little bass for her. She’s a little worried he may be intimidated by her more luxurious apartment.
Ikechi Ojore is ready to see his wife’s space. And meet her dog Rico. He’s definitely impressed with the fact she has a karaoke machine and uplighting in her crib. He admits he’s not a big pet fan. But after meeting Rico he thinks they can be friends. He’s impressed but not really intimidated. Yet.
MAFS: Michelle Tomblin Shocked to See David Trimble’s Basement Dwelling
In the beginning of this Married At First Sight episode, Michelle Tomblin agrees to meet with the experts and not be a pill. Along with hubby David Trimble, she sits down with Pastor Cal Roberson and Dr. Pia Holec. They come at Michelle Tomblin for giving up so quickly. And rejecting David for his living situation. Dr. Pia plays dirty by showing a clip of Michelle saying she would be ok with somebody living at home as long as they had a plan. After being expert shamed and coaxed into vulnerability, Michelle agrees to ease up.
So, she takes David to her place. It’s well kept and expresses her taste. But David Trimble hits a nerve when he describes it as simple. Next, Michelle agrees to visit David’s underground palace. She’s shocked to see a kegerator and a plastic Frankenstein head. She’s even more disturbed to see a laundry area. That he admits is the same one he shares with his parents in spite of his separate entrance. The lack of a living room is also a bit of a sore spot. So, it’s definitely a step back for this relationship.
Married At First Sight: Allen Slovick Makes a Winner of a Chicken Dinner
Allen Slovick spent his first night at LVV alone. Madison Myers hit the town for dinner and drinks with a friend. And sent a murky text after midnight that she was going home to crash with a friend. Allen is a good sport bordering on pushover. The same thing Madison warned him about in Mexico. That and his collection of food pyramid themed undies. Allen serves up coffee and bagels in Mr. and Mrs. mugs.
The experts drop by to check in on the Married At First Sight pair. Madison Myers praises Allen Slovick for taking her advice about hitting the gym. She admits she’s struggling with romantic attraction. Allen is eager to please and defends Madison. Later, he makes her a yummy chicken dinner. And introduces his dog Loofy. Madison likes pets but the dog gets a little amorous with a sofa pillow. Pastor Cal Roberson is relieved that at least Loofy is getting some action even if nobody else is.
Married At First Sight: Juan Franco and Karla Juarez Engage in Storage Wars
After a rocky moment on their Mexican honeymoon, Married At First Sight couple Juan Franco and Karla Juarez are ready to blend their things. Karla’s things happen to be in a storage unit. Since her lease was up shortly before filming. Juan cuts up and cracks jokes over her sound bowls and sage. This irritates Karla. But not as much as seeing Juan’s flatscreen TV rests on a drywall cart at his place. She finds his place messy. Then he tells her they can get rid of some of her things. So, not the best start back in Chicago.
Camille Parsons is having some doubts about her MAFS husband Thomas McDonald. She complains of a lack of swagger and wishes he could be more smooth. It seems he grew up in a less diverse high school than her. And she opens up to the experts about her concerns. The experts advise the pair meet in the middle when it comes to how to dress and where to hang out. Is Camille losing that initial spark? Till next time!
