A Marine died Tuesday night throughout what have been described as “routine navy operations” at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, in line with the Marine Corps.
The Marine was a part of the Marine Gentle Assault Helicopter Squadron 303, Marine Plane Group 39, third Marine Plane Wing, and died round 5 p.m. The incident is underneath investigation, the Marine Corps mentioned in an announcement, and the title of the deceased won’t be launched till a minimum of 24 hours after subsequent of kin are notified.
“Right now we’re not conscious of any further accidents,” a spokesperson for the Marine Corps mentioned.
The dying comes after a Marine died and 14 others have been injured in December when an amphibious fight automobile rolled over on the coaching camp. And in August, one Marine died after taking part in live-fire coaching.
