Manchester United’s right wing has been severely hampered by Amad’s season-ending ankle injury and Ruben Amorim is crying out for some quality out wide.
The Ivorian could play both as a No 10 and as the wingback and in his absence, Diogo Dalot is likely to continue playing as the right wingback even though he has struggled to offer anything going forward.
Which is exactly why the Red Devils are scouring the market for a quality right wingback with Geovany Quenda and Joao Cancelo among the names linked with a summer move to Old Trafford.
And CaughtOffside have now added Givairo Read of Feyenoord to the list. The 18-year-old has 23 appearances this season and has contributed one goal and two assists.
United eyeing Givairo Read
He can play on either flank and was immense in the knockout qualifiers against AC Milan that the Eredivisie side ended up winning over two legs.

And naturally, his club performances have attracted the interest of big clubs like United as well as fierce rivals Liverpool.
Both clubs had sent their scouts to watch the youngster in action during Feyenoord’s clash against NAC Breda and a summer approach is likely.
But the report states that the Netherlands U19 international has already rebuffed United’s approach as he holds out for a reunion with his former Feyenoord coach, Arne Slot.
Liverpool favourites for his signature
“Liverpool are stepping up their interest in Feyenoord’s brilliant right-back, Givairo Read. Sources have also advanced that both Liverpool and Manchester United had scouts at the recent NAC Breda vs Feyenoord match in order to run the rule over the 18-year-old.
“According to CaughtOffside sources with knowledge of the situation, Man United have already seen their advances rebuffed by the player, who is holding out for a reunion with his former manager.”
Liverpool are seemingly destined to lose Trent Alexander-Arnold to Real Madrid and Read has been earmarked as his perfect replacement, which just goes to show how highly-rated he is.
He has a market value of just €4 million as per Transfermarkt but whichever club wants to sign him will have to pay considerably more given his consistent displays so far this season.
