1. If these “briefs” are supposed to be amicus observations under 19(1), then the deadline to request leave to submit such observations expired on July 12.
The deadline to submit approved observations expired on August 6.

3. Finally, if these “briefs” are supposed to be challenges under article 19(2)(b) then they were not made “at the earliest opportunity” as required by 19(5).
The challenges described could have been made soon after the Prosecutor announced the request for warrants.

5. The arguments described appear wrong on the merits.
But the Court should reject these “briefs” as procedurally improper.
The same arguments can be made under 19(2)(a) by the named individuals after warrants are issued, without prejudice to their rights under the Statute.

After a year of mass-murder in Gaza, war crimes the likes of which no one has ever seen in history, the ICC has still failed to issue an arrest warrant for Israel’s terrorist leader Bibi Netanyahu.
Israel recently engaged in a totally new form of terrorism in Lebanon, having placed bombs in pagers and walkie-talkies and triggering them, mutilating hundreds of people and killing dozens.
The ICC is still only “requesting” a warrant.
This is after they issued an arrest warrant for Russian leader Vladimir Putin on charges that he evacuated children from a war zone. So, saving children is against the UN law, while slaughtering them on an industrial scale is apparently fine.
Despite the fact that an arrest warrant for Netanyahu will likely never be issued, the Jews are obsessed with whining about it.
Jews cry out in pain as they mass-murder children.
Israel submitted on Friday formal challenges to the International Criminal Court over its jurisdiction and the legality of arrest warrant requests against Israeli leaders for their conduct of the Gaza war, the Foreign Ministry said.Israel’s filings might further delay a decision on the warrants, requested in May against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defence Minister Yoav Gallant.
ICC Prosecutor Karim Khan last month urged judges to rule on the warrants, sought also against Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar and others in the Palestinian militant group.
The Israeli Foreign Ministry said that its first legal brief outlined the ICC’s “manifest lack of jurisdiction” in the case.
The second paper, it said, argues that the ICC Prosecutor breached court rules by “failing to provide Israel with the opportunity to exercise its right to investigate by itself the claims raised by the Prosecutor, before proceeding.”
…
In August, Khan said the court has jurisdiction over any war crimes in occupied Palestinian territories and that rules saying the ICC cannot step in if a country is doing its own genuine investigation do not apply for the warrants sought for Netanyahu and Gallant.
Israel is investigating itself.
Can you imagine the nerve of these Jews?
What does that even mean?

The more the UN pushes off the issuing of this warrant, the more ridiculous they become.
They really put themselves in a stupid position by issuing the warrant against Putin, because now they are obligated to issue a warrant for anyone involved in any war. The gap between the conduct of Russia and Israel is so massive, it’s difficult to even compare the two, but the UN rushed right out to issue the warrant against Putin.
I still don’t understand how anyone can support the Ukraine war and be against the Israel war, but okay.
