Hilary Swank enjoyed family time during the festive holiday season.
“Happy Holidays to you all. So grateful for this community,” Swank, 50, wrote via Instagram on Sunday, December 29. “Wishing everyone a restful and restorative time, as best as possible anyway, as we all navigate all we juggle.”
She added, “Feeling so connected to all the caregivers out there who keep so many balls in the air and have little time for themselves. As well as anyone navigating loss in any way. Grieving is hard work, especially this time of year. Massive love to you all.”
Swank wore a festive red sweater in her upload as she posed in front of a well-decorated Christmas tree. One of Swank’s babies stood at her feet, adorably playing with a round, hanging ornament.
Swank and her husband, Philip Schneider, welcomed a set of fraternal twins in April 2023.
“[Hilary] feels like she hit the jackpot with having a boy and a girl,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly at the time. “She can’t wait to start this next chapter with her family. She feels beyond blessed to have gotten everything she ever wanted.”
According to the insider, Swank was “literally on cloud nine” bringing her children home. The Oscar winner later revealed that she and Schneider named their daughter Aya and their son Ohm.
Swank announced her pregnancy in October 2022.
“This is something that I’ve been wanting for a long time, and my next thing is I’m gonna be a mom,” she said during an appearance on Good Morning America. “And not just of one, but of two. I can’t believe it.”
Becoming parents also strengthened Swank’s marriage to Schneider, whom she wed in 2018.
“Philip has been an incredible support system and Hilary loves seeing him with the babies,” the source told Us in April 2023. “She didn’t think it was even possible but seeing him as a father with them has only made her fall even more in love with the man she married.”
Swank had previously been candid about her dreams of becoming a parent.
“I definitely would like kids someday. That’s definitely something that I’ve always thought about as a very, very young girl,” she told reporters in 2006, gushing that she was “so optimistic” about the prospect of motherhood. “I just love kids and that would be an important thing to happen for me someday whenever the time is right.”
