CAIRO — Hamas plans to ship a delegation to Cairo “as quickly as potential” to proceed cease-fire talks to finish the conflict in Gaza, the group’s political chief, Ismail Haniyeh, mentioned Thursday.
In an announcement, launched after a telephone name with Egyptian intelligence minister, Maj. Gen. Abbas Kamel, Haniyeh mentioned the deliberations have been transferring ahead with a “optimistic spirit.”
