A gardener working in Baldwin Park made a stunning discovery Thursday when he discovered a cache of hand grenades on a sidewalk.
4 grenades have been discovered within the 13800 block of Los Angeles Road simply after 10:30 a.m., in keeping with emergency scanner stories. The Baldwin Park Police Division responded to the scene and cordoned off the road.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Division bomb squad was known as in and rendered the grenades secure for removing, the division introduced in a submit on X.

The standing of the investigation into the origin of the grenades was unclear. The Sheriff’s Division referred questions to the Baldwin Park Police Division. A spokesperson for the police division couldn’t be reached for remark Friday morning.
The Sheriff’s Division launched one picture of a black grenade on the sidewalk and one other of a bomb squad member carrying physique armor kneeling subsequent to a tree the place the gardener found the grenades.
