Fox News hosts Sean Hannity and Ainsley Earhardt can’t help but make some news with their relationship.
Ever since reports surfaced in 2020 that the duo were dating, both Hannity and Earhardt have tried their best to keep their romance out of the spotlight.
Along the way, the pair have been able to grow their long-distance relationship as Earhardt resides in New York and Hannity lives in Florida.
While celebrating Christmas 2024, Hannity — who shares Patrick and Merri with ex-wife Jill Rhodes — proposed to Earhardt, who has a daughter, Hayden, with ex-husband Will Proctor.
The newly engaged couple revealed to Fox News that they “still get along well” with their ex-spouses and “everyone is supportive of each other.”

Vanity Fair was first to break the news that Hannity and Earhardt were a couple and had been “quietly dating.” At the time, the reporting drew denials from both parties.
“Right now I am focused on raising my daughter and I am not dating anyone,” Earhardt said through a network spokesperson. “As anyone at Fox News will tell you, Sean is a wonderful person and whomever he chooses to date will be extremely fortunate.”
In his own statement through a spokesperson, Hannity added, “I do not discuss my personal life in public.”
April 2023
The Fox News hosts’ relationship went public when the Daily Mail posted photos of the pair at a Waffle House in South Carolina as well as at an Oyster Fest in Long Island, New York.
December 2024
Hannity and Earhardt turned heads when they stepped out for Fox Nation’s 2024 Patriot Awards at the Tilles Center for the Performing Arts in New York. “A great night celebrating the men and women who serve, protect, and honor our country and what it means to be a good and proud American!” Earhardt wrote via Instagram on December 6 after posing for photos with Hannity on the red carpet.
Weeks later, Hannity took his relationship with Earhardt to the next level over Christmas by proposing at their home church. “We are overjoyed and so thankful to our families for all of their love and support during this wonderful time in our lives,” Earhardt and Hannity said in a statement to Fox News.
The two added that they had the blessing and support from their children, who “couldn’t be happier.”
“Merry Christmas. Happy Birthday, Jesus,” Earhardt wrote via Instagram on December 26. “2024 has been a very special year. #christmas #merrychristmas.”
