Former Manchester United winger Facundo Pellistri has so far struggled to make much impact with new side Panathinaikos.
The Uruguayan left the Red Devils this summer after four years at the club.
Despite the odd flashes and moments in games, Pellistri was never able to fully convince that he deserved serious game time at the club and was finally sold this summer to Greek side Panathinaikos.
He made a decent start to life in Greece as he scored in his team’s 2-0 win over RC Lens in the Europa Conference League playoffs.
The tricky winger will certainly be happy with increased game time as he has played nine times since the start of the season.
Nonetheless, he has hardly been a regular fixture in the starting line up as four of these matches have seen him make an appearance from the bench.
He has also failed to complete a full 90 minutes for Panathinaikos as of yet.
Probably most disappointing of all though for the Uruguay international is that he has not been able to boost his statistics playing in an objectively much weaker league than the Premier League or La Liga.
He only has one assist to his name in a 2-2 draw against Kallithea last month.
His highest rated performance came on the 22nd of September when he was given a score of 7.3 on Sofascore against Panserraikos, where he had a 85% pass accuracy and won nine ground duels.
He will be disappointed however by the fact he failed to make the starting line up in his side’s latest two crucial derby matches against AEK Athens and Olympiacos, coming on after 65 minutes in both games and failing to change the tide in either contest.
All in all it has been a testing start to the season for the Greeks as they sit eighth in the Super League with only two wins from seven games and six goals scored.
Pellistri has proven his ability for his national team however after an impressive Copa America in the summer, so he will be hopeful that after taking some time to adjust he can translate his obvious talent to more concrete goal contributions for the Shamrock in the not so distant future.
