Days of our Lives spoilers reveal that Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) talks to Belle Black (Martha Madison) about her endeavors to locate their beloved John Black (Drake Hogestyn). His ISA job forced him to miss many family events and drama over the past few months. Marlena takes matters into her own hands to find him. ISA boss Shane Donovan (Charles Shaughnessy) claims he knows nothing more about John’s whereabouts.
DOOL recaps show Marlena telling Belle and her brother, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), that their father is missing in action. Of course, it’s upsetting to John’s adult children. DOOL fans know that John Black‘s end is nearing. His portrayer, Drake Hogestyn, lost his battle with cancer in September 2024. The actor gave the producer the go-ahead to film his death scenes while he was still alive, with the promise to revive the character if he survived the terminal illness.
Days of our Lives spoilers indicate that John’s demise will unfold over the next few months. His memorial service is expected to take place later this Spring. Of course, his death will rock Salem, especially Marlena Evans and their kids.
