The chair of the UK Statistics Authority has stated the election may “do with out” events quoting figures about one another’s insurance policies.
Chatting with BBC Radio 4’s At this time programme about Rishi Sunak’s disputed claims that unbiased Treasury officers’ calculations confirmed Labour would increase taxes by £2,000 if elected, Sir Robert Chote stated “[this] isn’t nice for total belief within the dialogue.”
