A California Freeway Patrol officer was hospitalized after he was struck by a automobile on the 5 Freeway in Sylmar early Sunday morning, authorities mentioned.
The officer was hit round 3:30 a.m. whereas responding to a disabled automobile on the southbound 5 Freeway, north of State Route 14, in accordance with CHP Officer Elizabeth Kravig.
The officer, whose title has not been launched, was rushed to the hospital in unknown situation, she mentioned.
