An ordeal at a Fullerton Wells Fargo financial institution on Tuesday night started with a potential theft try through which a person threatened witnesses with an “explosive gadget” and ended when police shot the person outdoors the financial institution’s doorways, in accordance with legislation enforcement officers.
In a press release on social media, the Fullerton Police Division mentioned officers responded to stories of a potential financial institution theft within the 100 block of West Bastanchury Street round 5:09 p.m. and started evacuating staff.
The Orange County sheriff’s bomb squad additionally responded to the scene.

KTLA reported that the suspect was shot after exiting the financial institution, and that officers then despatched in a robotic and drone to analyze objects surrounding the unresponsive suspect.
