Calif. Dems Tout Ties to Legal Leniency Group

The mayors of California’s three largest cities have rankled some progressive activists in current months by becoming a member of a wave of fellow Democrats renouncing as soon as common initiatives to defund the police, cut back sentencing, and undertake different prison justice reforms amid deep issues over public security.
