Amad’s 23 touches in the opposition box puts him top of the class, alongside his 15 shot-creating actions.
Furthemore, Amad has created more chances than any other United player (10) and leads the way in possession won in the final third (4) and passes into the penalty area (10).
The Ivorian has picked up from where he left off at the back end of last season, when he forced his way into Ten Hag’s first team after some eye-catching performances.
Loan spells at Rangers and Sunderland appear to have worked wonders for the 22-year-old, who has been tipped for a breakthrough season at Old Trafford this term.
Kobbie Mainoo was the latest player to praise the abilities of the former Atalanta man who’s had to be patient for his chance at United.
Amad had made just 21 appearances for United before the start of this season, since signing from the Serie A side for just under £20 million in 2021.
However, his outstanding early showings will see him doubling those numbers before this season’s out and should result in him securing a new contract in the process.
His dramatic extra-time winner that knocked Liverpool out of the FA Cup last season placed him firmly in the hearts of United fans who will be hoping for more magical moments from the winger during his time at the club.
