Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho statistically has the worst dribble success rate in the Premier League so far this season.
As United’s struggles continue, Garnacho’s own performances have also declined, with the player now finding himself on the wrong end of criticism from a section of supporters.
In particular, Garnacho has been faulted for his poor decision-making, especially in the final third, where it really matters.
He has also let himself down with some woeful finishing, as evidenced by the number of big chances he has failed to put into the back of the net.
It feels like for the first time in the Argentine’s career, there is now real pressure on him from the fanbase.
According to WhoScored.com, Garnacho has the worst dribble success rate in the Premier League, for players who have attempted more than 30 dribbles.
The United forward has attempted a total of 37 dribbles but has just completed a mere eight.
This translates to a measly 21.6% dribble success rate.

Dribbling and taking on players are regarded as two of Garnacho’s key strengths; however, he currently appears to be struggling in these areas and the stats prove it.
Like Erik ten Hag, Ruben Amorim has somewhat demonstrated a preference for playing Garnacho, although Amorim uses him as one of two most advanced midfielders in his 3-4-3 formation.
There is therefore time and an opportunity for Garnacho to improve and get back to his sensational best in a United shirt.
The Red Devils return to Europa League action on Thursday when they face Viktoria Plzeň at Doosan Arena.
