Susan Noles, Kathy Swarts and Nancy Hulkower might not have found love on The Golden Bachelor, but they are not ruling out a potential Bachelor in Paradise spinoff option.
“We’ll be there,” Susan, 67, exclusively quipped to Us Weekly on Friday, December 6, at iHeartRadio 102.7 KIIS FM’s Jingle Ball in Los Angeles. “I love that there would be seniors there [who are] my age, where I could wear a bikini because they’re not going to look any better.”
Susan, Kathy, 70, and Nancy, 62, met during the first season of The Golden Bachelor. While neither of them received Gerry Turner’s final rose, they did form close friendships with each other.
Golden Bachelor, itself a spinoff of the ABC dating show, then flipped the script earlier this fall for Joan Vassos’ season of The Golden Bachelorette. A Paradise sequel has not been officially confirmed by the network. (The original version returns in 2025 for season 10.)
“We talked about it, and I said, ‘I have to have AC,’” Nancy told Us. “We’ve heard about Paradise being hot and having bugs, but I need AC. … I will be wearing a bikini top and a big sarong like a mumu all day.”
Kathy, however, stressed that she “would not” wear a two-piece swimsuit.
Should Golden Bachelor in Paradise indeed get a greenlight, Susan, Kathy and Nancy don’t have specific suitors in mind to join them.
“It’s finding love at any age, realizing that life is not over,” Kathy said. “Get up off the sofa, go do something. They’re not coming knocking at your door. Get up, get your energy going and find some good ones.”
Nancy chimed in, “We haven’t gotten it yet, so we are all just putting it out there!”
Their friend Joan, 61, who is newly engaged to Chock Chapple from her season of The Golden Bachelorette, has also been “trying” to hook them up with her castoffs.
“She’s not bad,” Kathy said.
Joan also attended Capital One’s Jingle Ball with fiancé Chock, 60, and gave Us insight into her matchmaking process.
“We have a bunch of guys [from my season] and we have been working on matching them up [with the women from The Golden Bachelor],” Joan told Us in a separate interview on Friday. “Surprisingly, Chuck is a really good matchmaker. I started it, and now he’s on the job. We were all together last night and we were calling guys and talking to girls. We got things going.”
As for a “golden” version of Paradise, Joan pitched that she and Chock could be bartenders like Wells Adams on the OG version.
The iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour special airs on ABC Wednesday, December 18, at 8 p.m. ET and streams the next day on Hulu.
