Days of our Lives ended Belle Black and Shawn Brady’s marriage this week. And soon, Belle’s in a rebound relationship. And we’ll see Shawn’s strong reaction. It’s likely to be quite hostile considering who Belle chooses after Shawn on DOOL.
Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) cheated on Belle Black (Martha Madison) and also fell into a booze bottle on Days of our Lives. But Belle offered to support him in recovery. Instead, Shawn dumped her and chose a rehab facility near his family.
The death knell on their Days of our Lives‘ relationship began when Shawn shot Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) and spiraled out of control. This was to allow DOOL to write them out as part of the mass firings and backstage scandal.
Both actors returned to the show for Doug Williams‘ (Bill Hayes) funeral, marking the start of their new contract runs on the NBC Peacock soap opera. Now, both are back on contract and their divorce is about to be a done deal. Once Belle Black draws up papers, she and Shawn Brady are officially done on Days.
