A fireplace at a lithium battery manufacturing unit south of Seoul on Monday killed a minimum of 9 staff and left 15 others lacking, officers stated.
Officers feared that the toll from the blaze, one of many deadliest in South Korea in recent times, would rise as rescuers started looking the constructing. Two staff had been hospitalized with severe accidents.
