Wildfires in Hawaii have devastated the historic metropolis of Lahaina, the previous capital of the islands after they have been an unbiased kingdom.
Hawaii Sen. Brian Schatz, who surveyed the injury, mentioned the town had been “diminished to ashes.” Though the blaze in Lahaina is 80% contained, there’s nonetheless an lively hearth. The town stays with out energy.
