A small aircraft carrying two individuals crashed shortly after departing Chino Airport round 12:35 p.m. Saturday, in response to the Federal Aviation Administration.
The plane was a twin-engine Lockheed 12A, stated FAA spokeswoman Mina Kaji. The FAA and the Nationwide Transportation Security Board are investigating, Kaji stated.
A spokesperson for the Chino Valley Hearth District stated two individuals died within the crash, ABC7 reported. No different individuals had been on board the World Struggle II-era aircraft, and those that died haven’t been recognized.
A witness advised the TV station that the 2 males who had been killed had been part of a Father’s Day occasion on the Yanks Air Museum.
An NTSB spokesman stated Saturday that an investigator is anticipated to be on scene Sunday to start documenting the positioning and analyzing the plane. The wreckage will then be recovered and brought to a safe facility for additional analysis.
This can be a growing story.
