A Pasadena man has been arrested and accused of setting off at the least two explosions final week, and police say he could have been concerned in additional than 150 complete explosions in a small space during the last two years.
Artwork Leon Berian, 63, was charged by the Los Angeles County District Lawyer with three counts of utilizing an explosive system to destroy property. He was arraigned Monday, and his bail was set at $1.5 million.
On Thursday, police have been investigating one of many explosions and in search of video of the incident once they heard one other detonation and noticed a white cloud, authorities stated. Police noticed Berian’s 2013 BMW pulling as much as the place the explosion occurred. He was taken into custody, and police stated they took proof from his automotive that was associated to the explosion.
