90 Day Fiance: Shekinah Calls Out Sarper’s Drama – Recap [S11E03]

On 90 Day Fiance, Shekinah Garner calls out Sarper Guven when he struggles to leave his parents and his bachelor pad behind in Turkey. Mahdi feels the freedom while taking in all that New Orleans has to offer. Mina Mack isn’t thrilled with gas station food in New Hampshire. And Joan Kruchov is welcomed to America with a custom loaf of bread. Let’s take a closer look at our couples in this recap of Season 11 Episode 3 Between Love And Madness.

90 Day Fiance: Shekinah Annoyed by Sarper’s Drama

90 Day Fiance couple Shekinah Garner and Sarper Guven are headed to the United States to get married. While Shekinah understands it’s hard for him to leave family, she thinks she should be his first priority. The family gathers at a pool before they are set to leave the airport. Sarper’s sister confides to Shekinah Garner that they have reasons for their concerns. Namely that the pair fight often. And if Shekinah were to kick him out after a blowout, he’d have nowhere to go.

Shekinah Garner suggests her friends in LA would open their doors to him. But his sister scoffs at this idea. Suggesting Sarper would never seek out her friends in that situation. Shekinah is  sympathetic to what the family is feeling. Especially since his parents are extremely sad to see their only son go. But she does suggest to Sarper that he’s a grown man. And that as his future wife it’s time to put her first and stop the drama over cutting the cord.

On 90 Day Fiance, Shekinah Garner is glad to pack up and move out of Sarper’s bachelor pad. But he is having a tough time leaving his home and the memories of the many women he entertained there. Shekinah also warns that he needs to be on his best behavior around her teenaged daughter. Since her family has already tainted him in her eyes. Sarper Guven suggests he can’t change that he is an a-hole sometimes. Shekinah suggests he try a little harder not to be one.

90 Day Fiance: Mahdi Enjoys the Freedoms in New Orleans

Stevi Nichole and Mahdi had a very good night in New Orleans on 90 Day Fiance. In spite of the fact that she is concerned about his comments the night before about possibly returning to Iran. Mahdi clarifies that he only said that in a moment of sadness about missing his parents. So, the couple embark on a day of exploring New Orleans. First stop to sample a beignet of course. Mahdi loves the beignet and suggests if all the food in America is like this, he will gain weight.

Mahdi is amazed to see street performers dancing and singing. Especially because in Iran you can be arrested for these things. He says he can actually feel the freedom. He’s a little unsettled by a busker posing as a silver statue. And amused by an adult store featuring a scantily clad mannequin in the window. While it’s a bit overwhelming, he definitely seems to be embracing the freedoms that the United States has to offer.

Mina Mack Isn’t Feeling Gas Station Food

It’s been a tough adjustment so far for Mina Mack in New Hampshire. She wakes up missing her son Clayton who stayed behind in Paris due to passport issues.  A quick video chat with him makes her feel worse. She even suggests to Mark Bessette that she can’t go through with a wedding on 90 Day Fiance if Clayton can’t be there. Mark cautions that if they don’t wed in the right time frame she would lose her chance to stay.

Mina attempts to make breakfast and sets off the smoke alarm. She’s also disappointed that Mark doesn’t have a high chair or other necessities for Maria. So, Mark takes them to a convenience store attached to a gas station to shop. Mina is a little confused that there is no fresh lamb or mushrooms. Mark laughs it off and convinces her to settle for some pasta and cream soup. A trip to a furniture store is equally useless in looking for a high chair for Maria. Come on Mark. Drive a little more to a Walmart.

On 90 Day Fiance, Mina prepares spaghetti a la Gas-n-Go. Maria whines over the convenience store cuisine. But Mark and Mina make the best of the evening with some wine and the hot tub. Until Mark brings up visiting his family, particularly his daughter Jordan. He lets it slip that Jordon questions whether he should have any more kids. Mina takes offense to this and calls Jordan a snake. She leaves the jacuzzi and tells Mark not to bother coming to bed.

Greg Welcomes Joan with a Custom Loaf on 90 Day Fiance

Greg is over the moon that Joan Kruchov is arriving soon on 90 Day Fiance. He prepares a custom loaf of sourdough bread with her name carved on it to welcome her at the airport. He preps some chicken wraps and fries ahead of time to take along in case she arrives hungry. Hs mom is helpful but still suggesting they sleep in separate bedrooms when she arrives. She doesn’t want to hear any extra-curricular activity between the two.

Joan Kruchov giggles at the doughy welcome. In the car Greg offers up the chicken and fries. Joan says the fries are too salty. But seems genuinely happy to be in Greg’s company. Until he mentions the separate bedrooms. She gets upset and admits later had she known this she might not have come. The first meeting with his mom is cordial. But Joan just wants to take a shower. And isn’t used to pets sleeping on the bed. So, looks like three is definitely going to be a crowd.

TLC Throuple Moves Forward

On 90 Day Fiance Amani Jlassi and Matt are leaving for Mexico to move forward with their plan to bring Any Aguirre to the United States with her children to be one big happy family. But there are several things they have to take care of first. The couple say goodbye to their young daughters. Amani whines about leaving the kids for so long. She wishes she could just be normal instead of jumping through hoops to add some spice to her life with a third party. They could turn around of course and call it off.

It’s the Day of the Dead parade in Mexico. Amani Jlassi acts coy that she doesn’t understand it. But she did enough to buy some masks for the holiday. And pouts and preens in her sugar skull mask. Meanwhile a glimpse into Any Aguirr’s life is more like a Netflix movie. Pregnant at 16 Any now has 3 children she supports by working at the strip club. She tearfully admits that it’s tough, but she will do anything for her babies. She’s off to meet her other halves on 90 Day Fiance but will it work? Till next time!
